INDEPENDENT MARITIME SECURITY ASSOCIATES Ltd (IMSA)
Capabilities in executing maritime security services

IMSA understands that the financial burdens of security regulations on industry are substantial. Some experts predict that maritime world trade will triple by 2020 and effective security will play a key role in ensuring that losses through robbery, theft and piracy do not rise in line.

IMSA offers professional expertise and a skill base that is second to none. Excellent links and contacts within the maritime security industry combined with leading edge technology to help customers achieve cost effective solutions.

IMSA personnel have operated throughout the world, from relatively low-risk areas to hostile and war-torn regions.

Many maritime security training and consultancy providers come from limited maritime security backgrounds and do not have the extensive experience of IMSA. We believe that our Senior Associates have the most extensive experience across the global maritime security spectrum.

Special projects and training:

IMSA has, amongst its associates, some of the most experienced and current Maritime Counter Terrorism operatives and trainers.
IMSA also has associates who are Master Mariners, Yacht Captains, Seamanship Trainers and Fast Interdiction Craft Operators/Trainers.

These associates have operated and trained personnel in every conceivable maritime security environment from the highly dangerous riverine environment of the Niger Delta to the pirate infested waters off Somalia.

The following list of gives examples of work carried out by IMSA consultants during their extensive careers and includes consultancy and training for various companies that IMSA Ltd associates have worked for during their maritime security careers.
