SSO Course

A Ship Security Officer (SSO) is responsible for the security of the ship and for maintaining the Ship Security Plan set out by the Company. To do so, he or she must have knowledge of, and have received training in, a range of competencies listed in the ISPS Code Part B Article 13.1. IMSA Ltd’s SSO Course is based on the IMO and ICS Model courses and is designed to meet this requirement.

IMSA Ltd provides professional Ship Security Officer training carried out by and MCA & TRANSEC accredited trainers with the highest levels of maritime security experience.

“I enjoyed the insight into the SSO course and found that the instruction on the subject was both open to the floor and very professionally put across. A great insight if you have no maritime experience”
